We are so excited to announce that international designer Aleks Byrd is coming to Sunspun as part of her Australian Tour in July 2026!
Aleks Byrd is a knitwear designer with roots in Estonia, Canada, and the USA. She creates modern patterns with a connection to the past using little-known traditional techniques with a fresh twist. She creates unique wearable designs that are fun and rewarding to knit for all knitters. In addition to knitwear design, she works as an illustrator and teaches Estonian knitting techniques around the world.
Tuesday Troubleshooting
Tuesday Troubleshooting is designed to support Sunspun customers with any knitting or crochet challenges.
Our experienced teacher, Chris, will be available to provide one‑on‑one guidance. Whether you’re unsure about the next step in your pattern, facing a problem you can’t quite solve, or would like a technique demonstrated, this session is dedicated to helping you create knit and crochet projects you’ll love.
Bookings are essential for Tuesday Troubleshooting. As there may be several participants seeking individual assistance, please feel free to bring an additional project to work on while Chris is helping others.

Classes - Terms and Conditions
Payment: Paid in full upon booking workshop. Workshop fee is set and non-negotiable.
Attendance: If Workshop offering has 2-4 parts, the workshop fee covers the cost for all sessions. Attendance to all weeks is expected.
Cancellations: Please provide at least 7 days notice to receive a full refund. Less than 7 days, unless another booking fills your spot, we cannot guarantee a full refund. For multi-part workshops, cancellations must be received 7 days prior to the first workshop in order to receive a full refund.
Minimum numbers: This workshop will have a minimum number of 8 people in order to go ahead.
If this workshop is postponed or cancelled: You can use the amount paid as store credit, or be issued a full refund.
Health safety: Please do not attend the workshop if you are experiencing cold /flu /COVID symptoms.
