Master brioche knitting and make your very own Vintage Prim beanie.
Across three sessions, you’ll build your brioche knitting skills, guided by our teacher Chris. The first session will cover core brioche techniques before casting on the Vintage Prim beanie by the well-known designer Andrea Mowry.
Vintage Prim incorporates classic brioche increases and decreases to create stunning effects and a beanie you’ll wear and love. It’s an opportunity to practise and embed the brioche knitting stitches and techniques in a supportive group environment.
This class is suitable for anyone with confident core knitting skills (knit, purl, cast on). All special techniques will be covered in class.
Action Required:
- Students need to purchase their own copy of the Vintage Prim pattern by Andrea Mowry (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/vintage-prim)
- Students need to bring their own supplies, including sufficient yarn for the pattern and the corresponding needles (as outlined in the pattern). Additional yarn will be needed to practise brioche knitting before starting the beanie
