Make your very own cozy Book Club Cardigan in your choice of yarn.

Across four sessions, you’ll create your very own Book Club Cardigan by the designer Sari Nordlund. Sari is well known for her textured designs and garments for all seasons. The Book Club Cardigan is a cozy, timeless cardigan with all-over cables and wonderful details.

We’ll cover all the core elements of the Book Club Cardigan pattern, including yarn choices, swatching and sizing. We’ll cover all the core elements of the Book Club Cardigan pattern, including top-down seamless knitting, how to knit cables (with or without a cable needle) and how to read the pattern charts. You’ll have time between classes to work on your Book Club Cardigan, before coming back together to share your progress and all the techniques to complete a cardigan you’ll wear and love.
This class is suitable for anyone with confident core knitting skills (knit, purl, cast on). All special techniques will be covered in class.

Action Required:

• Students need to purchase their own copy of the Book Club Cardigan pattern by Sari Nordlund (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/book-club-cardigan)
• Students need to bring their own supplies, including sufficient yarn for the pattern and the corresponding needles (details in the pattern)
• Prior to the first class, students should knit (and block) a swatch (approx. 10cm x 10cm). This will be used in the first class to discuss gauge, sizing and needle selection
