PATTERN LAUNCH WED 28th AUGUST 2024
This scarf design features an all-over diagonal stripe pattern. The changing directions are achieved with an interesting modular construction. It is worked in a fingering weight yarn with 2 colours but the design is versatile and can be adapted for more colours.
This is a great pattern for an adventurous beginner who wants to stretch their skill set with new techniques! The techniques to indulge in are garter tab cast-on, basic increases and decreases, stretchy bind-off with bobbles and grafting with Kitchener stitch.

Creative Collaborations
We are excited to announce that Sunspun and Sánná + Co have teamed up to design a beautiful knit that you would be proud to wear or gift to others.
At Sunspun, we want to support designers in creating knitwear that showcases seasonal trends and offers styling inspirations to our customers.
We are delighted that our first collaboration is with Susanna Kaartinen, a local designer with Finnish roots. She has published over 30 patterns independently under her own Sánná and Co. brand or in collaboration with publications and yarn companies, such as Brooklyn Tweed, Woolfolk, Laine and Pompom.
Inspiration behind the Finn Scarf
We wanted to create a unique scarf for everyday wear. Susanna designed an all-over diagonal stripes pattern with options to customise your finishes. Virginia wanted to feature the Finnwool from Mominoki Yarn with this design.
This is a great pattern for an adventurous beginner knitter who wants to stretch their skill set with new techniques! The design consists of two contrasting colours, but it is versatile and can also be adapted for more colours.
