Our Fair Isle class will introduce you to the core elements of Fair Isle knitting as you create a beanie. We’ll cover key techniques such as two-colour stranded knitting and catching floats, while experimenting with colour and pattern.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis class is suitable for anyone with basic-level knitting skills (knit, purl).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAction required:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003c!-- [if !supportLists]--\u003eYarn – Students need to bring their own supplies, including 150 grams of 8ply (DK) yarn for the main colour (MC) and small (scrap) amounts of 2-4 other colours, also in 8ply (DK) for the colourwork. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eNeedles – Students need to bring a 4mm circular needle (either 40cm or 60cm long) or the correct size to obtain the required tension (22 stitches and 30 rounds to 10cm over stocking stitch in the round).
