Using socks as our canvas, this class is all about experimenting with colour using an exciting new addition to the Sunspun yarn range. This is your chance to create your very own socks while learning about colour as you knit. Maybe you’ll try bold stripes, maybe mix and match, whatever you choose there’ll be lots of yarn and colour to explore.
Colour is just part of this class. You’ll also learn how to knit toe-up socks, as we cover the key elements such as casting on and adding an afterthought or short-row heel. Along the way, we’ll learn about colour theory – building confidence in working with multiple colours in your knitting. By the end of the class, you’ll be well on your way to having your own unique, colourful pair of socks.
This class is suitable for anyone with base-level knitting skills – knit, purl, cast on.
The class fee includes an upcoming new sock yarn in a range of colours.
