Have you wanted to knit fair isle (also called stranded knitting or colourwork), but not sure how? Our basic fair isle workshop will introduce you to the basics of fair isle/stranded knitting as you create a sampler which can be turned into wrist warmers. We’ll cover key techniques such as two-colour stranded knitting and catching floats, while experimenting with colour and pattern.
This class is suitable for anyone with base level knitting skills (knit, purl)
Materials:
- Students to bring their own needles. More details on registration.
- Yarn will be provided.
