La Bien Aimée Corrie Confetti is a limited edition yarn made from recycled fibre and threads from their mill and atelier.

Aimée's confetti project is evolving in 2024… She wants to keep exploring interesting fibre blends while continuing to upcycle their fibre and yarn waste from La Bien Aimée. Each spin will feature different mixes of our recycled threads in exciting new colours. And because they are changing the blends, starting in 2024, their recycled yarn will be called Confetti.

What does this mean for Corrie Confetti? Well, it is the end of this chapter for this yarn. It was a great run, and we are excited to move on, to make new and exciting things for you. This means that the quantity of Corrie Confetti online is the very last of our stocks, and once it’s gone, it’s gone!

Greybow is an explosion of bright colours on a neutral background. The base colour is a warm grey with rainbow-coloured recycled threads. It's both neutral and bright, moody and happy, but always soft and squishy.

Nancy’s Speckled Sweater is an undyed brown Falkland Corriedale in a warm neutral brown / taupe. The pops of colour are all recycled yarn threads from Nancy's extensive stash. This is truly a one-of-a-kind release.

RGO: RGO, which means Really Good Orange, was a colour inspired by the Iconic Orange Lady, Gaye Glasspie, the famous GG. Corrie Confetti RGO is an amazing bright orange with colourful recycled La Bien Aimée yarn threads spun directly in the fibre.

Ochre: I like to think of Ochre as the “original” Corrie Confetti, as it was the very first colour that we released on this recycled base in September 2021. The color is based on Yellow Brick Road, one of La Bien Aimée’s all-time best sellers and my absolute favorite color.
