Laine Saint-Pierre, the renowned wool for embroidery and darning

Laine Saint-Pierre darning wool was originally from Lyon. In 1971, it was acquired by Maison Vrau and is now owned by Ets Toulemonde, who also owns the French brand Fil Au Chinois.

The 1847 Collection marks a revival for this product: featuring redesinged cards and packaging by Frédérique Crestin-Billet, showcasing their original look. New colours have also been introducted to create a permanent range, especially suited for traditional embroidery and cross-stitch.
